Registration fees


  • Register to attend the conference with accommodation

The conference registration fee covers all the conference materials and stay in a double room (shared with another participant) for four days / three nights at The Russelior Hotel & Spa Hammamet (Formula A1) or Concorde Marco Polo Hammamet (Formula A2) to include: :

  • Accommodation (4 days, 3 nights)
  • 3 Breakfasts, 3 lunches and 3 dinners

* International participants may check into the hotel and register at the conference one day or more earlier (i.e. on or prior to the 11th of November 2018) and check out one day or more after the conference (i.e. on or after the 16th of November 2018). The cost of each extra night (60 EUR) will be added to the registration fee. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided and included in the total registration fee during the extra days..


  • Register to attend the conference with no accommodation

There is a possibility to attend the conference with no accommodation. In this case, the registration fee covers:

  • Lunch for 3 days (i.e. on the 13th, 14th and 15th of November 2018)
  • Coffee breaks
  • Springer certificate of participation
  • Springer promotional gift
  • Conference bag
  • Large USB flash drive (including the conference program / proceedings)

  • Register to include your accepted paper in the proceedings without attending the conference

There is a possibility to include your accepted paper in the conference proceedings to be published by Springer without attending the conference. In this case, authors of each accepted paper must pay a publication fee of 200 EUR before the deadline of 1 August 2018. The accepted paper will not be included in the final conference program (see Author Guidelines and Publications for more details).


  • More information
  • To include the accepted paper in the final conference program, at least one co-author of each paper must register online to attend the conference and select the payment method before the deadline of 15 September 2018 (see below "Payment terms" for more details).
  • If multiple papers by the same author are accepted in the final conference proceedings and program, an amount of 150 EUR should be paid for each additional paper.
  • There is a possibility to attend the conference without submitting a paper.
  • To attend Workshops 1 or 2, an amount of 70 EUR should be paid per workshop's attendance (see Courses and Workshops).
  • To attend the courses, an amount of 50 EUR should be paid per course's attendance (see Courses and Workshops).


Airport shuttle service

  • There will be a free-of-charge shuttle service for international participants between the airport of Tunis–Carthage and the conference venue in Hammamet (45 mins). Accompanying persons should pay 30 EUR to cover costs of both way airport transfers. This offer does not apply to residents of Tunisia. 
  • The airport shuttle service provides round-the-clock service between Tunis–Carthage airport and Hammamet. It provides our international participants and accompanying persons safe, affordable, and reliable transport.
  • The shuttle schedules offer a variety of times to choose from whether you are arriving or departing. Drivers will be waiting with a sign "CAJG-2018" at the exit of international arrival. If you can't find the driver, you can give the airport shuttle office a call at +216 98 22 63 41 or +216 20 22 70 34. Please don't call them for making the reservation! It will be made automatically during the registration step. 
  • The free-of-charge airport shuttle service is offered to international conference participants on 11/12 and 15/16 November 2018. 
  • The  free-of-charge airport shuttle service is also offered to international field-trip participants on 8/9 November 2018 (i.e. Transfer from the airport of Tunis–Carthage to Hammamet) and on 18/19/20 November 2018 (i.e. Transfer from field-trip hotel in Tunis to the airport of Tunis–Carthage). 
  • There will be a free-of-charge shuttle service for field-trip participants between the airport of Djerba and the field-trip hotel in the island (25 mins) on 8 November 2018.

Extra nights and accompanying persons

  • Extra night: 60 EUR per night in a double room.
  • Supplement for a single room: 30 EUR per night (not guaranteed, depending on hotel capacity).
  • Accompanying person: 60 EUR per night in a double room.
  • Children’s rates (2–12 years): 50% discount in parents room and 25% discount in a separate room.

Payment terms

  • Payment can be made via the following methods:
    • By cash on-site at the conference desk (only after online registration).
    • By Bank Transfer (the full amount without any deduction should be paid including the bank transfer fees).
  • Deadline for online conference and field-trip registration and hotel reservation is 15 September 2018.
  • Confirmation of conference registration and hotel reservation will only be guaranteed upon receipt of a scanned copy of the Bank Transfer Order (international participants) or Order Form / Bank Check (Tunisian/local participants) before 1 October 2018.
  • Confirmation of registration at field-trips, workshops and/or courses will only be guaranteed upon receipt of payment before 1 October 2018.
  • If you prefer to register at the conference, workshops, courses and/or field trips and pay cash on-site at the conference desk please send a scanned copy of your airline ticket before 20 October 2018
  • Acceptance of your paper in the conference program will only occur following this step of registration. Please send the scanned copies by email to: contact@cajg.org. If you cannot send these copies before 20 October 2018, please ask for an extension by email specifying the reasons.
